SUMMARY: LOTR-inspired logo spread Weathertop Productions
OBJECTIVE: Create icon, logo and wordmark for a recording studio/composer/audio engineer based on the Lord of the Rings-inspired name “Weathertop Productions” without making it overtly “nerdy” and keeping with a more “alternative” aesthetic. Design it to work well on merch such as shirts and stickers, as well as social media/website.
SOLUTION: Created an icon with a blackletter “W” and a stamped-style illustration of the sword of the Nazgul to connect it to LOTR without making it overtly “nerdy” and incorporated these elements into the full logo and wordmark.
OUTCOME: This branding has been implemented by WP and is currently in use. More merch related designs and in depth branding in the works for 2025.
