SUMMARY: Collage album cover design for Playwr!tes single “Baby Gumm”
OBJECTIVE: Create album artwork for an indie band for their single inspired by the tragic story of Judy Garland.
SOLUTION: Created a collage using an old Hollywood photo of Judy Garland as a child in a grungy, printed style, printed and collaged and then rescanned for the final.
OUTCOME: Explored a mixture of digital and analog collage by creating the collage in Photoshop and then physically printing, cutting and assembling the collage on paper and rescanning for the final. Explored distressed textures and glitches.
